MEETINGS

Larew baits, Quantum gear

Gary Dollahon with Gene Larew Lures and Quantum Fishing Tackle will be the guest speaker at the North OKC Bassmasters and OKC Junior Bassmasters meeting on Tuesday. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe Steakhouse on the north side I-240 service road between Penn and Western.

Dollahon will present information on the new Larew soft plastic baits and the 2008 line of Quantum rods and reels.

The clubs will be making award presentations for the 2007 season and discussing 2008 activities including upcoming CastingKids events and tournament schedules. Guests are welcome.

Quail Forever

FISHING

Dolese stocked

More than 1,800 rainbow trout — or 1,250 pounds of fish — were stocked Thursday in the Dolese Youth Park Pond in Oklahoma City. More fish will be added every two weeks through February. A free trout fishing clinic is scheduled Friday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Putnam City High School Gymnasium, 5300 NW 50.

To register, call 755-4014. Anglers fishing for trout at Dolese need city and state fishing licenses, but a trout permit is not required.

HUNTING

Predator seminar

Bass Pro Shops in Bricktown is holding seminars Saturday on predator hunting and calling. Outfitters and Bass Pro staff will be discussing predator hunting techniques and tactics. Seminars begin at 10 a.m. and are scheduled throughout the day. For more information, call 218-5200
